Freaky ...my dear.....YOU must be my long-lost twin! Freaky to me that another woman feels about her hair, the way that I do! Thank you for making me know that I'm not the only one whose hair is such a huge part of who she feels she is, or isn't! I'm in your very boat.....but DO know that you ARE every bit as wonderful a woman, with no hair or Rapunzel-esque hair! (Note to self: read what you just wrote!) LOL!!!
Your hair looks great as is....and think back to how annoying it is when it grows and starts being a 24/7 bother because you can feel it. Short hair has MANY perks....one of which, is that you can fix it and go....and know that you look quite cool! Same cannot be said for longer hair; it often just lays there like dead grass...not a pretty picture to visualize on your head! YIKES!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15337568.post-43760715324113426352012-08-28T11:34:54.546-07:002012-08-28T11:34:54.546-07:00hair as metaphor...mine is quite long...got tired ...hair as metaphor...mine is quite long...got tired of going to stylists that didn't cut my hair as I would like, plus I started taking care of my mom...the length of my hair is about three years now, plus every time I start to think about cutting my hair, I realize that my hair will never be this color again. I thought I was the unique person with these thinkings.

Best wishes!Mlle. And I'm reminded of George Clooney, who I adore!, as Everett Ulysses McGill, in Oh Brother Where Art Thou and his obsession with his hair...and didn't he play another hair obsession role in another film?...Yes, I decided about six or seven weeks ago not to cut my hair. I've been wondering about your headbands, the wide ones in your portrait photos...I love your holiday bands...and once cut the sleeve off an extra large t-shirt to wear as a headband because of you, but got flack from my grown children. I am in the bangs almost in my eyes stage and loving it!Leora Plattehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01883503204661526647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15337568.post-6271974223081291612009-03-13T13:03:00.000-07:002009-03-13T13:03:00.000-07:00we all hate that awkward stage! i learned to just ...we all hate that awkward stage! i learned to just clip it back when i grew out my bangs-got my hair all one length then cut it off-...now it's growing again :)
and your hair always seems to look cute by the way~donna joyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06477398621641972642noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15337568.post-7753495631669352722009-03-13T02:32:00.000-07:002009-03-13T02:32:00.000-07:00Loving your hair! my fav pic from the row is the f...Loving your hair! my fav pic from the row is the first one, black with some red very rock chick!

I,m just as bad with mine.I,ve chopped it off about 3 -4 times. It used to be halfway down my back and i chopped it to pixie length when i was 18 and keep on chopping it at the akward stage, only to let it grow back when i,m pregnant.

Speaking of which, since i,m expecting my third child now i,m trying to get it to grow past my chin. I despeartely want to dye it red too! but will have to settle for a weave instead.

Keep being patient with the things in your life i,m sure your closer than you think to where you want to be.But when we are close to something it,s hard for us to see it. The last time I really felt I had that was as a teen - I have really good hair for those "big bangs" 80's styles! haha!

I finally found a fantastic stylist I can afford... and he's helped through every awkward stage so far... not sure how long I want to let it grow now... but I can totally relate to your metaphor.Amy Winghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05092213778298100534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15337568.post-82970541071918608572009-03-11T16:19:00.000-07:002009-03-11T16:19:00.000-07:00Well.........all I can say is, you are so adorable...Well.........all I can say is, you are so adorable that just about anything on the top of your head would work.Karen Colehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11781297289001148349noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15337568.post-34284596604535224742009-03-11T14:32:00.000-07:002009-03-11T14:32:00.000-07:00love the pic! the hair wait will be worth it...wo...love the pic! the hair wait will be worth it...won't it? of course it will be! happy day! ciao!nadiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06639504026811585562noreply@blogger.com
