exploring we will go

A while back we made the promise to each other to always make time to seek adventure as a family (you can read about it here). Exploring new places and going outside is a big part of our daily lives and once in a while I like to share a little peek into our adventures.

whenever I watch your photos, my country, my village , look so so tiny compared to yours...I'd love to walk along these huge beaches, with superb drifted wood... love from tiny France !

I love living through your pictures, they are wonderful. I wish I could find big pieces of driftwood at my local beach. Thanks for sharing.

Making time for adventures is crucial isn't it?

Both with the kiddos and the dogs I can get caught up in a routine of write, paint, walk, draw, eat, snack, nap, walk and then realize it's been over a week since I'very explored anything new, because my focus was either on meeting the needs of the three kiddos, or the dogs. Littles make everything brighter and more curious for me. Adding forest walks to my exploratory routine has really helped. (Both in calming my visual stimuli- Portland can buzz so hard- and in formating more fantastical stories.)
