fashion friday- moscow fashion week

I am such a sucker for fashion week and not just the major ones (Paris, Milan, New York and London) which means I am following all kinds of blogs and sites covering all of the different events (major and obscure). This week fashion week happened in Moscow and when I saw photos of Historia Naturalis coming down the runway at the Belarus Collective Show, I was immediately inspired! I LOVE the simplicity paired with the geometric elements and those little wooden purses- SO FANTASTIC!

I've just been looking at the shapes videos in your Sketchbooks course and these designs reminded of the apples!

OMG! These look like the frames we make at my job, Nomadic Display. Some of them look exactly like our logo to funny. I'll have to show this to our Marketing Director!

This definitely feels like we've entered 'the future'. Interesting.

And the shoes!!!! Now if they weren't quite so high so I could wear them . . . either that or I was years younger and hadn't the sense to think of such things.
