One more post to share from the CREATE retreat and it is from my class- Doodled Surface Design. While this was only a 3 hour class I was blown away by all of the creativity from everyone in the class. Here is a peek at student work...

  4. These doodles inspire me to let go of my inhibitions and my "no-way-I-can't-draw attitudes when working in my art journal!

  6. I started to doodle too, because it's a good way to stay concentrated during boring meetings ;)
When i went to school - a long long time ago - i also used to do that ;).
Now I bought myself a good sketchbook and made a cover for it so that it wouldn't get harmed in my bag : http://mooisvanme.blogspot.com/2011/05/ditjes-en-datjes.html
That way i hope to stay tuned at meetings and make funny things the same time :)

I like those examples from your students ! It makes me eager for the next meeting , would you believe that ???

  11. Your sketches are always so beautiful. The colors you choose are so stunning, as are the patterns. So beautiful.
